By using Mong, you agree to these terms. This platform helps you discover song meanings through emotion, story, and context. You agree to use the service lawfully and respectfully.
- No spam, abuse, or illegal content.
- Respect copyright laws when sharing lyrics or interpretations.
- We may store activity to personalize your experience.
- We may modify or remove content when needed.
Content, AI and external services
- Meanings, Finder, fusions and Song Diagnosis use AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They offer interpretations, not verified statements of an artist’s intentions. Song Diagnosis is entertainment and reflection, not a medical or psychological assessment or professional advice.
- You retain your rights in your submissions. You allow Mong to store, process and display them only as needed to provide the requested feature, according to its visibility. This does not make private notes or stories public. Public profiles, comments and published fusions may be viewed or shared by others.
- Keep your account secure and submit only content you may share. Do not post others’ private information or harmful, illegal or infringing material. Use the reporting tools or contact us about abuse; we may review, restrict or remove content or accounts to protect the service.
- External links and ticket sales have their own providers and terms. Disclosed affiliate links may earn Mong a commission. PayPal handles voluntary contributions on its own service; a contribution does not guarantee a particular result. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights.
Account preferences and communications
- After registering, you may choose your preferred language and optionally provide up to 3 favourite artists and a favourite genre. These preferences are private account settings, not public profile fields. You may skip, change or remove your answers in your account preferences.
- We use these choices to select relevant, already published song meanings in your chosen language. If you enable the weekly selection, we may send it at most once a week through the channels you choose: in-app notifications and/or the email newsletter. Availability depends on existing published meanings; subscribing does not request new AI generation.
- Notifications about replies to your comments have separate in-app and email choices. The email newsletter requires a separate, explicit opt-in to these terms; registering, accepting the general terms or enabling reply notifications does not subscribe you. We record your choices, the date and the applicable consent version to manage and demonstrate your consent.
- Change your choices at any time in account preferences. Every newsletter includes a free unsubscribe link that works without logging in. Unsubscribing from the newsletter stops newsletter emails; reply alerts remain controlled separately. Essential account and security emails are unaffected. Our email service provider processes the delivery information needed to send your chosen emails; our privacy policy explains providers, retention and your rights.
- Saved weekly selections and their delivery status are retained for up to 90 days to manage delivery and avoid duplicate recommendations. Your current preferences and consent records are handled under the retention rules in our privacy policy.
- If you choose concert recommendations, we use your favourite artists and optional country to find upcoming Ticketmaster dates for your newsletter. These settings remain private. Ticket links may be affiliate links: itsMong may earn a commission on eligible purchases. Ticketmaster and its partners handle ticket sales, prices, availability and tracking under their own terms. You can disable this section separately or unsubscribe from the newsletter.
Cookies and Consent
We use cookies and similar storage technologies to keep the service running and improve it.
- Essential cookies are always active because they are required for core features.
- Loads usage and performance measurement from Vercel and Google only if you allow optional analytics. Your advertising choices stay separate.
- Choose which services can load. Analytics and advertising have separate controls. You can return here from the footer at any time.
- Your cookie choice is stored in your browser (cookie/localStorage), so preferences are browser and device specific.
Advertising and your choices
Google AdSense may use cookies and identifiers depending on your choices, the applicable settings and the type of ad. You can change your preferences at any time using the permanent privacy control in the footer. Earlier refusals remain in effect until you change them.
Copyright and takedown requests
Mong is built around interpretation and context. We do not claim ownership of third-party songs, recordings, lyrics, artwork, or metadata.
- If you believe content on Mong infringes your rights, contact itsmongapp@gmail.com with the page URL, the work involved, your contact details, and a short explanation of the rights issue.
- We may remove, restrict, or update content while a rights request is reviewed.
- Do not submit lyrics, comments, or other material unless you have the right to share it.
